Shell affiliates can now take advantage of PWM’s red and green LED/SMD technology. “Price signs are one of the most powerful marketing tools for any convenience store owner. Over half of consumers make their station selection after reviewing the price sign,” says Wolfgang Manz, President and CEO at PWM Inc. “Leveraging a sign that has a wider viewing angle, reduced energy consumption and longer lifespans than traditional LED/SMD technology often has an immediate impact on our customers' bottom line.” ## Other advantages of PWM’s LED/SMD technology include: - LED/SMD technology offers long sign lifespans, withstanding the most extreme weather conditions. PWM’s LED/SMD signs are capable of being completely submersed in water and withstand the hottest environments. - Electronic price signs allow quick price execution resulting in a 4-second price change versus a possible 4-6-hour process using a standard manual static sign. In addition, strategic price execution is possible through multiple price changes in a day that can all be done from a remote central office. - PWM’s customers benefit from superior customer service including 24/7 live support, 2-year parts and labor warranty with a 5-year warranty option. ### Featured Articles [![The Evolution and Impact of Fuel Price Signs in America](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/hs-fs/hubfs/PWM%20-%20Romantic%20Gas%20Sign%20Blog%20Graphic.png?width=300&name=PWM%20-%20Romantic%20Gas%20Sign%20Blog%20Graphic.png "The Evolution and Impact of Fuel Price Signs in America") ](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/the-evolution-and-impact-of-fuel-price-signs-in-america) [The Evolution and Impact of Fuel Price Signs in America](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/the-evolution-and-impact-of-fuel-price-signs-in-america) 16 Jun, 2026 [![PWM’s Superior Warranty & Maintenance Support Explained](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/hs-fs/hubfs/c502aed0-ff0d-47ad-adbe-226555006630.png?width=300&name=c502aed0-ff0d-47ad-adbe-226555006630.png "PWM’s Superior Warranty & Maintenance Support Explained") ](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/pwms-superior-warranty-maintenance-support-explained) [PWM’s Superior Warranty & Maintenance Support Explained](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/pwms-superior-warranty-maintenance-support-explained) 19 May, 2026 [![Maximizing ROI with LED Price Signage at Gas Stations in 2026](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/hs-fs/hubfs/dd6a3888-78c3-454e-85e9-5e87c88c571e-1.png?width=300&name=dd6a3888-78c3-454e-85e9-5e87c88c571e-1.png "Maximizing ROI with LED Price Signage at Gas Stations in 2026") ](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/maximizing-roi-with-led-price-signage-at-gas-stations-in-2026) [Maximizing ROI with LED Price Signage at Gas Stations in 2026](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/maximizing-roi-with-led-price-signage-at-gas-stations-in-2026) 16 Apr, 2026 ![Email Icon](https://f.hubspotusercontent10.net/hubfs/1781314/Email%20Icon.svg) ### Subscribe to Our Blog [![placeholder](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/hubfs/raw_assets/public/pvm-electronic-theme/src/images/blog/linkedin.png) ](https://www.linkedin.com/company/pwm-usa/) ## Related Articles [![](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/hs-fs/hubfs/PWM_Shell%20Announcement2.png?width=500&name=PWM_Shell%20Announcement2.png) ](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/pwm-price-signs-announced-as-approved-led-price-sign-supplier-for-shell) [Shell](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/tag/shell) --- ### [PWM PRICE SIGNS ENTERS INTO CONTRACT WITH SHELL AS APPROVED LED PRICE SIGN SUPPLIER](https://blog.usa.pwm.com/blog/pwm-price-signs-announced-as-approved-led-price-sign-supplier-for-shell) HOUSTON TX – (March 28, 2023) PWM is a leading price sign provider based in Houston, Texas.
