After Atlantic Richfield was purchased by BP in 2000, the ARCO brand was bought by Tesoro in 2013. Tesoro rebranded as Andeavor in 2017 and merged with Marathon in 2018.

PWM’s strategic alliance with ARCO began in 2016 as ARCO, with newly released brand standards, wanted to give its affiliates a chance to take advantage of PWM’s white SMD technology, which was unique in the price sign market.
